Our knowledgeable and talented team of Zetema Staff and Fellows are committed to creating a forum that stimulates the productive exchange of diverse, expert opinion on the many facets of the US healthcare system.
Meril Pothen is a Fall 2018 Zetema Project Fellow and a 2020 MPP candidate and Margolis Scholar at the Duke University Sanford School of Public Policy. As a Zetema Project Fellow, her role is to learn from the Project’s Panelists, Contributors, and staff, contribute to Project research and writing, participate in Project meetings, and enhance the Project network.
Prior to joining the Zetema Project and enrolling in graduate school, Ms. Pothen was a Senior Associate Value Advisor at Optum360, a firm that uses research, technology, and consulting to improve the performance of healthcare organizations and educational institutions. She is also the founder of and pastry chef for Sweet Cardamom, a small business that creates custom-order desserts for special events.
Ms. Pothen earned her BS in Policy Analysis and Management from Cornell University.
